Happy Feet :)

Posted by ~* ♥ Fallen Angel ♥ *~ in ,

I got home after a long day which I had to spend almost entirely by sitting at my desk, updating offers to the customers. Lots and lots and lots and lots of numbers.... not pretty at all! I get dizzy when i have to deal with too many numbers! *LOL* So when I got home (7 something p.m.).... I decided that I had been "indoors" enough for one day (and one entire season as well), so I decided to go for walk.

I LOVE to walk. I love to take long walks just for the sake of walking :)

After months of hibernating, this was a relieving and relaxing escape. The weather was absolutely wonderful - these are the only times when I regret living in the city. I would have enjoyed to live somewhere in a village, by a forest, where I could take the longest and most inspiring walks :) But the truth is that I am a "city animal" and I couldn`t live without the urban rush. Oh, and there is also the internet addiction :)

All in all... it`s great to come out of the winter cocoon. I`ve taken my first real long walk this year. My feet hurt like hell. But I`ve never felt better :)

I am from the Country so my walks (hikes) are much different than yours are in views. But I think In wonder and thought, They are very much the same.
The easing of the mind, after a day of work still unwinds the tension regardless of where the walk is.

@Outdoors2
yes, but still it would have been nicer if you consider the silence that the forest could have offered, the fresh air and the sound of the leaves under the feet...

@curcubitator
What? OMG, did something happen to your legs? :)))))

I didn't want to bring you down, as I am flipping the rocks in the creek, chasing pollywogs and crickets. for when I sit on the bridge and cast for a spell and then continue the stroll through the meadow as the newly arriving spring Robins sing... hurriedly gathering worms from the fields...oops Sorry

Couldn't agree with you more! I too love the urban rush but often feel suffocated and *need* the freedom, space, tranquility and fresh air of the countryside.

Nothing like a spring walk to put fire back in the soul - rrrrr!

You sound happier - i like that.

@Technodoll
Looks like you are an urban animal as well :) Yes, I do sound happier because the sunny days are finally here :) I already feel more energy :)

the thought if rusticating somewhere in a nice countryside is tempting, but laptop batteries can only last a few hours... and i am also an internet addict... -.-"

@Whiskoffee
You are right - nature is wonderful but has only one major flaw... it can`t keep the PC and net connection :)
